“In view of the current situation in Iran, all Indian nationals & persons of Indian origin in Iran are requested to remain vigilant, avoid all unnecessary movements,” the Indian Embassy stated.

Additionally, the authorities encouraged citizens to keep an eye on the Embassy’s social media accounts and follow the safety protocols suggested by local officials.

Israel has carried out airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear program and military targets under the codename Operation Rising Lion. This significant escalation in hostilities could potentially ignite a new conflict in West Asia.
Following the strikes, Delhi Airport issued a passenger advisory, reporting disruptions in some flight operations.
Air India has also experienced multiple flight disruptions due to the ongoing situation in the region. Iraq has taken measures to close its airspace and suspend all flights and airport operations, according to reports from AFP.
