The domestic cancellations affect AI874 from Pune to Delhi, AI456 from Ahmedabad to Delhi, AI2872 from Hyderabad to Mumbai, and AI571 from Chennai to Mumbai.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers. Our ground team is making alternative arrangements to ensure they reach their destinations as soon as possible,” the airline stated.

Passengers impacted by the cancellations are being offered full refunds or the option of complimentary rescheduling, according to the carrier.
Air India also mentioned the likelihood of additional disruptions due to “ongoing enhanced inspections on our aircraft, airspace restrictions, and adverse weather.” The airline has encouraged travelers to remain informed about their flight status through official channels. “Passengers are advised to check the latest information before departure to prevent unforeseen delays,” the airline’s statement noted.
In light of the Ahmedabad London plane crash that resulted in over 250 fatalities last week, some of the carrier’s Boeing aircraft are undergoing rigorous safety evaluations.
