Arunachal Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has highlighted the tremendous eco and adventure tourism potential of the state following an exciting river-rafting adventure on the majestic Dibang River at Dambuk, located in the Lower Dibang Valley district, alongside former chief minister Mukut Mithi.

In a social media update, Mein portrayed rafting on the Dibang as “an experience filled with raw power, unspoiled forests, and pure adventure.”

He emphasized that the river embodies the wild spirit and considerable eco-tourism potential of Arunachal Pradesh, pointing out that its exhilarating rapids and stunning landscapes make the Dibang one of the top adventure spots in the area.

Reflecting on the trip with Mithi, Mein remarked that navigating the river’s dramatic scenery was “truly unforgettable,” encouraging visitors to partake in the unique adventure themselves.

“Adventure awaits in Arunachal. When visiting Dambuk, one cannot overlook the excitement and raw beauty of the powerful Dibang River, which is best experienced through an exhilarating river-rafting excursion,” he stated.

Highlighting the broader vision for promoting adventure tourism, the deputy chief minister noted that the government is working to enhance its commitment to fostering responsible adventure activities that create sustainable livelihoods for local communities while protecting the state’s rich natural heritage.
