The Platinum kit, available to members who joined the tier after November 2025, features a leather folio, a revamped membership card, a fridge magnet, personalized luggage tags, a passport holder, a deck of playing cards, and a limited-edition brass medallion commemorating J R DTata’s inaugural flight in 1932.
The Gold kit, introduced in October 2025, contains a membership card, two personalized luggage tags, and a set of acrylic coasters adorned with vintage Maharaja artwork.
Members of the Maharaja Club enjoy benefits such as priority check-in and boarding, lounge access, reciprocal perks with 24 Star Alliance partner airlines, and the ability to earn points on flights and partner services.
To qualify for the Gold tier, members must accumulate 30,000 Tier Points annually, with at least 9,000 points derived from Air India flights, or complete 60 eligible flights with Air India and partner airlines, including a minimum of eight Air India flights. The Platinum tier requires 45,000 Tier Points, with at least 13,500 from Air India flights, or 90 eligible flights each year, including at least 12 by Air India.
Tier upgrades are activated automatically upon meeting the criteria, and members can monitor their status through the Air India website or app.
