A NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued by the Indian Air Force indicates that runway work starting in the first week of April will lead to reduced operational hours for scheduled flights, which will be limited to 5 pm from April 6 to July 31, as posted by AAI Srinagar on its official X handle.
Currently, around 60 flight movements (arrivals and departures) occur daily between 8 am and 10 pm at Srinagar airport.
“Though watch hours will be shortened, flight movements are anticipated to increase in line with the DGCA-approved Summer Schedule. Airlines will adjust and operate flights within the revised timings,” the AAI stated.
It emphasized its commitment to providing safe, efficient, and seamless travel.
“Passengers are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and refrain from relying on unverified information,” it added.
