If there were a skin-care ingredient popularity contest right now, peptides would be among the front runners. Long favored by dermatologists and product formulators, these collagen-supporting ingredients deserve all the hype they’re getting. In K-beauty, one of most popular ingredient combos is PDRN and peptides, which is done flawlessly in the new Advanced PDRN Copper Peptide Serum ($25) from Dr. Reju-All (one of my favorite Korean skin-care brands). Here’s my honest review.
The Benefits of This PDRN Serum
As collagen production naturally declines with age, peptide-infused products have become increasingly popular for helping address concerns like fine lines, loss of firmness and dullness. However, not all peptides are created equal. This serum contains copper peptides, particularly the tripeptide complex known as GHK-Cu, which are often considered among the most exciting peptides in skin care because they do more than simply support collagen production and boost firmness.
Research suggests copper peptides also help encourage skin renewal, support wound-healing processes, improve skin elasticity and provide antioxidant benefits that help defend against environmental stressors. In this formula, the peptides are encapsulated in little blue beads that break apart on the skin and dissolve. Encapsulation protects the copper peptides from oxidation and keeps them more stable so they can work efficiently.
Other key ingredients in the serum include PDRN, which boasts regenerative properties that help restore a damaged skin barrier, and hydrating hyaluronic acid. Together, they help bring your skin back to an optimal state, so it looks healthy, clear and youthful. It’s an ideal formula for anyone with early signs of aging (like myself) who wants firming, hydrating and regenerative benefits without compromising their skin barrier.
One of my favorite aspects of this fragrance-free serum is its thicker, yet still lightweight texture (it’s not runny) that absorbs quickly without a greasy or sticky residue. I apply it morning and night on clean skin after toner and before moisturizer. (I’m also a big fan of Dr. Reju-All’s PDRN Cream ($30), a 2026 NewBeauty Award Winner.) Pro tip: This is also a great product to apply after a long day in the sun!
