As per the advisory, Indian travelers are required to have a valid passport that must be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of arrival. It is also recommended to have confirmed return tickets, hotel reservations, and a well-defined travel itinerary.
Additionally, the Embassy has instructed travelers to fill out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours prior to arrival in Thailand.
Moreover, the advisory emphasizes that visitors should possess the correct visa based on their travel purpose.
Tourists using the visa waiver or Visa on Arrival (VOA) scheme must carry at least 20,000 Thai Baht (THB) (approximately ₹57,467 at the current exchange rate) in cash per passenger.
To minimize delays at immigration, travelers should keep all necessary documents easily accessible before reaching the immigration counter. Those traveling in groups should ensure that each person has their own set of documents.
The Embassy has also cautioned travelers who have received a job offer in Thailand not to utilize the visa waiver or Visa on Arrival facility and to apply for the appropriate employment visa instead.
For passengers transiting through Thailand, the advisory states that they must have all pertinent documents, including the required visa, for their final destination country.
