Three years after one of her most high-profile denials that she’d ever had plastic surgery, Martha Stewart is setting the record straight once again. In a new interview with People timed to her 85th birthday, Stewart reiterated, despite years of speculation about her youthful appearance: “I have not had any plastic surgery at all,” Stewart told the magazine. “I don’t think I need it.”
It’s not the first time she’s addressed the rumors. Back in 2023, following her record-breaking Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, she told Variety, “I’ve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever,” crediting healthy habits, diligent sun protection and a consistent skin-care routine instead.
Has Martha Stewart Had Fillers?
While Stewart’s still adamant that she hasn’t had plastic surgery, she’s also open about the cosmetic treatments she does receive. “I go to Dr. Dan Belkin in New York City. He is a very superb dermatologist,” she told People. “And I use a little bit of fillers. I go maybe once every four months for touch-ups.”
Her approach, she says, is all about maintenance rather than transformation. “I’m more a maintenance kind of person. I’m not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that.”
Martha Stewart’s Diet and Skin-Care Habits
Stewart also continues to credit many of the same habits she’s discussed over the years, including healthy eating, exercise and good genes. “My mom looked great at 95,” she said. “We eat well. We don’t drink very much. We don’t smoke. We eat healthy food. We exercise daily. I horseback-ride.”
“I have very healthy, good hair,” she said. “I drink green juice every day. I take my vitamins. I eat very healthfully. I have very good skin doctors. I’m very careful in the sun. I wear hats and I wear sunblock every single day.”
All of this to say: It’s the same answer she’s given for years—and at 85, she shows no sign of changing her tune.
