Icon Skincare, from Innovative Skincare—the company behind iS Clinical—was inspired by the rediscovery of Golden Age facialist Madam Renna’s approach to skin care. Madam Renna catered to many of Hollywood’s biggest stars of the era (Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable among her loyal clientele) and now, with the brand’s launch, you can use the same ingredient combinations Monroe wore on her skin.
The brand blends heritage with clinical formulations to help bring Golden Age skin care into the present. The hero ingredient of the line is a trio of honey, royal jelly and propolis—essentials in Madam Renna’s routines. The line features these ingredients alongside contemporary actives, barrier-supportive technology and sensorial textures.
While iS Clinical speaks the language of clinical results, Icon speaks a warmer one. The ethos focuses more on what the brand calls “emotional efficacy” — the idea that results aren’t only visible, they’re felt. “We developed Icon to bring joy to the journey of discovering the inner Icon in everyone,” says President and CEO of Innovative Skincare, Bryan Johns. “We all have the ability to be iconic in our own right, which begins with confidence and focusing on what is right with us, rather than what is ‘wrong.’”
