Martha Stewart Debuts Elm Biosciences Retinoid Night Cream

Leave it to Martha Stewart to break the internet with a makeup-free selfie and a new skin-care launch. In an Instagram post shared yesterday, the lifestyle icon posted a glowing, bare-skin photo alongside the nighttime ritual she never skips: checking on her animals, then her skin care. The star of her routine? A just-released night cream she helped create.

“[Dr. Bhanusali] and I created [Elm Biosciences] to answer a very personal need for high-performance skin care unlike anything else on the market,” she shared in the caption. “Our newest launch is no exception. I’ve been using it consistently and I love the results. Let the proof be in the picture.”

The product in question: A3O Elemental Night Cream ($165), the newest innovation from Elm Biosciences, the clinically driven skin-care brand Stewart cofounded with New York–based dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali, MD. Designed as a restorative, overnight retinoid treatment, the formula aims to visibly smooth fine lines, boost firmness and deeply hydrate while supporting long‑term skin health. Powered by ectoin and barrier‑fortifying lipids, it cushions and supports the skin while minimizing the irritation traditional retinoids often trigger.

Stewart says the results speak for themselves, especially given her previous sensitivity to retinoids.

“We created Elm to answer a personal need for high-performance skin care unlike any other, and with each new launch, we are committed to elevating the standard of excellence to ensure we are offering the best ingredients and formulations,” says Stewart. “Our new Night Cream is no exception. I’ve been using it consistently and have been loving the results. My skin is noticeably more firm and without any dryness issues that caused me not to use retinoids in the past.”

For the icon, the night cream fits seamlessly into a streamlined evening ritual—and, judging by her selfie, the payoff is undeniable.
