According to the new policy, individuals, event organizers, and photography or media agencies can reserve either static or running Namo Bharat coaches, the statement noted.
A mock-up coach at the Duhai Depot is also accessible for static photography. Bookings begin at Rs 5,000 per hour, including 30 minutes allocated for setting up and taking down decorations or equipment, it continued.
The NCRTC highlighted that this service offers a unique experience, with the modern, internationally designed coaches of Namo Bharat providing a visually stunning backdrop for photographs and intimate gatherings.

The facilities can be customized with simple decorations, following specific guidelines, the corporation mentioned, noting that celebrations are allowed only between 6 am and 11 pm, organized in a manner that does not disrupt train operations or inconvenience passengers.
All events will occur under the supervision of NCRTC staff and security personnel to ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols, the statement explained.
With stations strategically located at key points such as Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South, the initiative is anticipated to attract residents throughout the Delhi-Meerut corridor, offering a familiar yet distinctive venue to celebrate special moments, it added.

The NCRTC indicated that it has also developed a comprehensive premises hiring policy for film shoots, documentaries, advertisements, and other visual media projects at Namo Bharat trains and stations.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Railways has instructed the Northern and East Central Zones to assess the financial implications of implementing a comprehensive on-board housekeeping service, including for Vande Bharat trains.
The ministry noted that the matter was discussed with the Finance Directorate, which requested details on the financial implications of the proposal, as well as information on the current housekeeping standards maintained in Vande Bharat trains and other comparable services like Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi.
The ministry urged both zones to provide their responses by November 25, 2025, to enable further processing of the proposal.
