Golden Globe–nominated actress Piper Perabo—forever etched in pop-culture history for her breakout role in Coyote Ugly—is leaning into well-timed nostalgia. As the cult-classic film approaches its 25th anniversary, Perabo is stepping into a new role as the face of Bliss’s Fabgirl Firm Firming & Contouring Body Cream. A modern reimagining of the brand’s original Fatgirl Slim, the upgraded formula (launching exclusively on Amazon today, with 30 percent off during Amazon’s Big Spring Sale) reflects today’s evolved skin-care standards, blending collagen, caffeine and botanicals to visibly tighten, tone and smooth, while staying true to its vegan, cruelty-free roots.
Ahead of the relaunch, we caught up with Perabo to talk her favorite product and revisit the beauty (and dance) moments from Coyote Ugly. Read our full interview below.
Why do you love this product so much?
“As we grow up, I think we become more thoughtful about the products we’re using on our skin. I like the Bliss FabGirl Firm Firming & Contouring Body Cream with Collagen for multiple reasons. The first is that it is easy and quick to use, which is important with a busy schedule. You just massage it in, and it visibly changes, tones and smooths uneven skin while enhancing the look of elasticity, and 20-30 seconds later you’re getting dressed and out the door. So it’s simple to work into your routine, while feeling like self-care.”
I also love that this formula feels rich and luxurious and that Bliss is a clean, dermatologist-tested brand. This cream is formulated with collagen amino acids and niacinamide, along with magnolia bark extract and caffeine to help smooth and refresh the look of your skin, especially after this long winter!”

What is your history with the Bliss brand?
“I’ve lived in New York for more than two decades, and Bliss is an iconic New York brand that really brings me back to the late ’90s and early 2000s. I love that the campaign taps into that nostalgia while still feeling modern, especially as Western-inspired style is having a moment and ladies are grabbing their cowboy boots to go with spring dresses. We want our skin to look healthy and radiant.”
What are your thoughts as Coyote Ugly turns 25?
“It’s wild to think about. Coyote Ugly was a big moment in my life, so getting to revisit that era through this campaign with Bliss is really fun. Bliss is also such a nostalgic brand for many people, and early-2000s and ’90s nostalgia has been having a major cultural moment. For me, I look good when I’m feeling good, and having healthy skin is a big part of that confidence.”

Can you share any glam prep for the movie that still stands out all these years later?
“As you can imagine, we had a lot of dance rehearsals, all of us girls together. We worked hard, and that kind of group exercise with friends, that is joyful, was a big part of looking and feeling good for the movie. I would still rather go to a dance class with friends than any other workout.”
What are some early-2000 makeup and hair trends you wish would come back—or any you’d like to stay away from?
“I hope we won’t loop back to that brown lip liner and frosted pink lipstick; let’s leave that in the rearview. But when we’d come out of dance rehearsal and our hair was all tied up and wild and wispy from hours of dancing, I loved that. Simple, clean, a little wild—that’s always been my favorite kind of beauty.”
