Extensive preparations in the temple town are being overseen by senior government officials and members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Prime Minister’s Office and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office are keeping a close watch on developments to ensure a seamless event.
The ceremony will be live-streamed across prominent television channels and online platforms. To facilitate greater public involvement, a 200-foot LED screen will be set up at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, and over 30 large screens will be installed throughout Ayodhya for devotees to witness the proceedings.

The city is being adorned for the celebration, with saffron flags, floral garlands, and stunning lighting displays illuminating streets and landmarks. The Tourism and Culture Department has scheduled a variety of cultural events from November 21 to 25, 2025, featuring Ram Katha recitations, devotional music, classical dance, and folk performances by renowned artists.
Meanwhile, the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has initiated a significant beautification project, which includes resurfacing roads, repainting ghats, and planting trees to give the city a festive atmosphere.
Temple Trust Secretary Champat Rai stated in a video message, “1,600 rooms have been arranged for invited guests attending the flag-hoisting ceremony on Vivah Panchami day (November 25) at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.” He noted that additional accommodations have been set up at Karsevakpuram, Ramsevakpuram, and Teerth Kshetra Puram, complete with bedding and blankets to keep guests warm during winter.

According to the Trust, entry for the ceremony will commence at 8 am and close at 9 am. In attendance alongside the Prime Minister will be RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The event will conclude by 2 pm, followed by a darshan session for high-profile guests. Officials have confirmed that regular darshan will not be available on November 25.
The saffron flag, measuring 22 feet by 11 feet, has been specifically designed and crafted from durable parachute fabric and silk threads. It will be hoisted on a 42-foot pole atop the 161-foot spire using a 360-degree rotating mechanism, as reported by PTI. The triangular banner features sacred symbols such as the Sun, ‘Om’, and the Kovidar tree.
Rai emphasized that due to ongoing construction at the temple and limited space, attendance is restricted. “Priority has been given to guests from eastern Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
