The South Central Railway has declared the cancellation of numerous trains due to non-interlocking activities related to the Rayanapadu yard refurbishment in the Vijayawada division. These enhancements form part of Indian Railways’ extensive initiatives to modernise infrastructure, decrease congestion, and improve passenger safety and convenience. The work is scheduled from April 28 to May 5, impacting various services between May 1 and May 5.

Key routes, including those linking Vijayawada with Secunderabad, Guntur, and Bhadrachalam, will be affected. Both passenger and express services, serving thousands daily, are included in the cancellation list.

Below is the comprehensive list of the impacted train services, cancellations, and guidance for travellers to adjust their plans during this disruption.

The Vijayawada-Bhadrachalam Road (67215/16) and Vijayawada-Dornakal (67768/67) services will be cancelled from April 28 to May 5. Long-distance trains like Visakhapatnam-Mahabubnagar (12861) and Kakinada Port-Lingampalli (12737) will remain cancelled from May 1 to May 5.

Other significant cancellations include Vijayawada-Secunderabad (12713/14), Guntur-Secunderabad (17201/02), Guntur-Secunderabad (12705/06), Mahabubnagar-Visakhapatnam (12862), Visakhapatnam-Mahabubnagar (12862), and Lingampalli-Kakinada Port (12738) trains from May 2 to May 5.

Several tri-weekly trains are also impacted. Kakinada Town-Lingampalli (12775/76) will be cancelled on May 3 and May 4. Sambalpur-HS Nanded (20809) will not operate on May 1, May 3, and May 4, while HS Nanded-Sambalpur (20810) will be cancelled on May 2, May 4, and May 5. Vishakhapatnam-HS Nanded (20811/12) will not run on May 2 and May 3, respectively.

Trains will be rerouted via Vijayawada – Krishna Canal – Guntur – Pagidipalli / alternative routes. Multiple stops, including Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, and Mahbubabad, will be omitted.

Travellers are encouraged to check train schedules in advance when planning their journeys and to consider alternative options to avoid last-minute disruptions during this period.
