Stassi Schroeder Has Never Been Afraid of a Little Chaos

Much anticipated since it was announced a few years back, Stassi Schroeder’s House of Stassi is finally releasing this summer. The show follows the reality star as she steps back into the spotlight to reclaim her place in pop culture, and as the first teasers hit, the Vanderpump Rules fan favorite gave us a glimpse into what keeps her grounded amid it all.

PERFECTLY UNDONE

“When I was younger, I thought beauty meant perfection. Now? Beauty is confidence with a little bit of chaos mixed in. I think getting older, getting married, having kids…it completely rewires how you see yourself.”

STAYING GROUNDED

“I don’t try to keep up with all the trends because that’s such a losing game. I stick to what makes me feel like me, even if that’s the same thing I’ve done since 2012. Also, my daughter Hartford keeps me centered. When she looks at me and says I look beautiful, that gives me the most confidence.”

SACRED RITUALS

“Self-care is the true foundation for everything. Taking time for myself after my kids go to bed is non-negotiable. I need that time to decompress and reset.”

CONSISTENT BASICS

“I’m all about consistency over doing the most. To me that means a really good cleanser, moisturizer and cute under-eye patches. And I’m obsessive about taking my makeup off at the end of the day—always.”

FOREVER FAVORITES

“Anyone who knows me knows that my forever product is the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Bury me with it. As for new products, I love the Summer Fridays Lip Liner Stain ($22).

SIGNATURE LOOK

“I treat trends like suggestions, not the Bible. I’ll try something if it feels like me, but I’m not about to abandon my entire identity for a TikTok moment. My vibe is polished with a touch of drama…and she’s not going anywhere.”

MAKEUP MOVES

“For me, it’s all about the defined eyes, brushed-up brows and a lip that makes a statement without screaming. It’s classic and a little bold, depending on the day. If I look in the mirror and feel powerful, that’s the look.”

RULE BREAKING

“You will never catch me with thin brows or a glowy, natural skin tint. If you do, it’s against my will.”

OLD HOLLYWOOD

Grace Kelly is the blueprint. I reference her probably more than any living person in my life. Something about that whole era just clicked for me early on and I never let it go. The polish, the intention…I’ve spent a long time trying to figure out how she did that. I’m still working on it.”

SHOWING UP

“You don’t have to have everything figured out to take care of yourself and feel good. I’ve been through a lot publicly, and getting ready in the morning, doing my skin care, putting on something that makes me feel like myself—that stuff still matters. It’s not shallow. It’s actually a form of showing up for yourself.”

DESERT ISLAND

“My holy grails: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, Rare Beauty Brow Gel ($21) and Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($36).”

BROW FIRST

“My favorite way to get ready is with an Aperol Spritz in hand, which I’m sure some dermatologist somewhere would have some notes about. And my brows are completely non-negotiable. I will go out with nothing else on my face before I go out with no brows.”
