The airline announced that these new routes aim to enhance regional air connectivity, especially to industrial and port-related centers.
Mundra stands out as a significant logistics and trade hub in Gujarat.
According to the new schedule, Star Air will provide direct flights connecting Mundra with Mumbai, Hindon (Delhi NCR), Goa, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nanded, with varying frequencies by route throughout the week.
The Mumbai–Mundra route will feature multiple weekly services, while the Hindon connection will operate three times weekly. Flights connecting Mundra with Goa and Surat will also be available several times a week, catering to both weekday and weekend travel needs.
In addition to direct services, the airline will offer one-stop flights via Mundra linking cities like Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Belagavi through intermediate hubs such as Goa and Mumbai. These connections aim to integrate smaller cities into the larger domestic network.
Simran Singh Tiwana, CEO of Star Air, indicated that the introduction of these new destinations demonstrates a commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and improving access between smaller cities and major urban areas.
With this expansion, Mundra becomes a key part of Star Air’s expanding domestic network, which focuses on regional routes across western and southern India.
