Star Air, part of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group’s aviation division, has unveiled plans to enhance its regional network by introducing more routes and increasing flight frequencies, with a focus on boosting connectivity from Kolhapur and Belagavi.

The airline announced it will elevate its weekly operations from 455 flights to 550 in the summer season, in response to growing demand across its network. As a part of this expansion, Star Air has initiated a daily direct connection between Belagavi and Mumbai. Kolhapur will benefit from improved connectivity with new flights to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru, as well as links to Kishangarh and Indore.

The airline reports that over 85% of its flights departing from Kolhapur and Belagavi are on time. Introductory fares have been established at ₹4,499 for the Kolhapur–Mumbai and Kolhapur–Bengaluru routes, and ₹5,049 for the Belagavi–Mumbai route.
Star Air operates a fleet of 12 aircraft, which includes eight Embraer E175 and four Embraer E145 planes. The airline currently serves 31 destinations throughout India and has plans to expand its fleet to 25 aircraft within the next 36 months.
