As tensions between Iran and the US-Israel heighten, Indian airlines are actively working to repatriate citizens who are stranded. Mumbai Airport is preparing to receive multiple repatriation flights today and tomorrow, offering relief to thousands of Indians trapped in West Asia.

Recent updates indicate that Emirates flight EK8506 from Dubai landed at Mumbai Airport at 13:55, followed by Star Air flights S58503 and S58302 from Fujairah, set to arrive at 19:30 and 21:00, respectively. Indigo flights 6E8636 and 6E8595 from Jeddah are due to land at 23:55 and 23:30, respectively.

The schedule for March 4 includes Royal Jordanian flight RJ190 from Amman at 01:40, Gulf Air GF2064 from Dammam at 05:50, and SpiceJet flights SG9031 and SG9014 from Fujairah at 04:00 and 06:25, respectively.
The ongoing conflict has led to major disruptions, with around 15 Indian aircraft stranded at Gulf airports. To date, two Air India planes have returned from Dubai, one carrying passengers and the other with a stranded crew.
IndiGo has successfully repatriated four of its seven stranded aircraft, but only crew members were on board. Air India Express has brought back two of its six stuck planes, unfortunately, without any passengers.

Earlier today, Air India conducted its first flight from Dubai since tensions escalated in West Asia. According to an X post, the national carrier transported 149 passengers along with 8 crew members.

Flight operations in the Middle East have gradually resumed as of Tuesday; however, widespread cancellations persist at Dubai airport, Abu Dhabi airport, and various Saudi airports.

In an advisory issued Tuesday, India urged its nationals in the UAE to remain vigilant and adhere to guidelines.

Meanwhile, the number of American fatalities during the ongoing conflict with Iran has reached six, as reported by the US military. The Iranian Red Crescent notes that the death toll in Iran from US-Israeli strikes has surged to 787 on its fourth day, showing a significant rise from the 555 reported on Monday.
