Cordelia Cruises is set to inaugurate the first international cruise service from Visakhapatnam on July 15, heralding the commencement of overseas sailings from the city’s international terminal and marking the eastern port’s entry into international cruise operations.

The cruise will embark on a 14-day journey throughout Southeast Asia, starting from Visakhapatnam and making its initial stop in Chennai. Passengers will enjoy a two-day stay in Chennai before the ship continues its adventure into international waters.

The itinerary features planned stops at Phuket in Thailand, Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Singapore. Additionally, there will be designated sea days between destinations when the ship remains at sea as part of the voyage schedule.

This launch signifies the introduction of international cruise services from Visakhapatnam, enhancing departure options beyond current ports and providing a fresh starting point for international cruise journeys from India’s eastern coast.

For travelers, entry requirements for the planned destinations have been specified. No visa is necessary for Thailand and Malaysia, while Singapore offers visa on arrival. Passengers must hold a valid passport with a minimum validity of six months for the trip.

The service integrates both domestic and international stops within a single itinerary, commencing with a departure from Visakhapatnam, followed by a stop in Chennai, and subsequent sailings to Southeast Asian locations before wrapping up the route.
