In a public announcement made on June 19, the embassy indicated that M/s Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will commence outsourced consular services across the UAE from July 1.
This transition signifies the conclusion of services currently provided by BLS International for passport and visa applications and SGIVS Global for attestation tasks.
Current centres to cease new applications
In line with the transition process, the existing service providers will no longer accept new applications after business hours on June 25, 2026.
The embassy further stated that regular appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services will be unavailable from June 26 to June 30. During this interim, applicants will be unable to schedule routine appointments through the existing system.
This temporary suspension is intended to facilitate a seamless transition between the outgoing and incoming service providers.

Emergency services to remain operational
Although regular services will be paused for five days, the embassy clarified that emergency consular assistance will persist during this transition period.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai will manage urgent passport, visa, and attestation requests for individuals in emergencies.
Indian nationals in need of emergency support can reach out to the authorities via dedicated helplines, WhatsApp support, and official email channels provided by the mission.
New appointment portal launching soon
The embassy announced that a new appointment portal for consular services will be introduced by Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC ahead of the new framework becoming effective on July 1.
Applicants are advised to consult only official communication channels and social media accounts of the Embassy of India and the Consulate General of India for updates concerning the transition.
This change is anticipated to impact thousands of Indian expatriates in the UAE who utilize outsourced centers for passport renewals, visa-related tasks, and document attestation services.
