After 20 Years of Loyalty, Ali Larter Is Now the Face of SkinCeuticals

Ali Larter and SkinCeuticals are officially in business together: The Landman star has joined the brand as its newest brand ambassador.

“I have used SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic ($185) for over 20 years,” the actress, 50, told PEOPLE, timed to the partnership announcement. “It was such a natural organic partnership. It’s been a trusted part of my routine for so long, and so now I’m excited to be able to talk about it.”

That kind of loyalty is part of what’s made C E Ferulic a cult favorite well beyond Larter’s own bathroom counter. The vitamin C serum is one of SkinCeuticals’ signature products, formulated to protect skin from environmental damage while brightening and firming over time. It’s the kind of steady payoff that turns a product into a habit, not a trend—a reputation the brand has built less on marketing and more on word of mouth, from people like Larter, who found it long before there was a partnership attached to it.

Larter’s quick to point out that the loyalty took time to build, as skin care wasn’t always a priority for her. “I would even go to bed and not wash my face at night,” she recalls of her younger self. “I did not take care of my skin with a routine that I have now. That is by far the biggest difference. I wash my face in the morning and night, do my skin care and I use the same products.”

These days, that routine barely changes. “I do a cleanser and then I love their scrub,” she continues. “Then the next thing that goes on my face is always the C E Ferulic because when I was younger, that’s one thing that I saw the difference in because I knew that it worked and it just gives my skin this radiance.”

Larter treats in-office visits as a complement to what she’s doing at home, not a substitute for it. “I’m also a big HydraFacial girl, so I love doing it monthly,” she continues. “I go in and I’m dedicated to it…when you put those two in partnership, that’s when you really see it blossom.”

For Larter, that discipline isn’t confined to her bathroom counter. It’s the same mindset she brings to everything else. “It’s like how I approach my work as an actress. It’s just putting in the work,” she explains. “It’s about waking up and putting my best foot forward each day. It connects with my skin-care routine, and how I approach going onto the set of Landman. It affects how I approach my children and my family.”
