Natalie Alyn Lind’s Beauty Essentials Are Made for Life on Set

As she earns all the rave reviews for her first foray into the Yellowstone universe, Natalie Alyn Lind is sticking to her self-care schedule. The actress plays Oreana, a wild, free-spirited breakout in the spinoff Dutton Ranch, and she’s sharing her best beauty secrets, straight from the Texas ranch.

Hydration Comes First

Lind relies on Liquid I.V. and electrolytes to power through brutal days on set. “Texas heat is not something to mess around with,” she says. “And, I truly believe that beauty starts from the inside, so staying hydrated is the foundation of everything.”

Sunscreen Is Nonnegotiable

Filming locations for Dutton Ranch are so remote that the crew is sent coordinates—not addresses—and dropped into “the deep Texas no-man’s-land” with little to no shade. Lind says she’s diligent about reapplying Supergoop! sunscreen three times a day and loves the formula with the “nice shimmer.”

Clarins ‘Saves’ Her Skin

Currently on “a huge Clarins kick,” Lind loves using the One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser ($40), Super Restorative Smoothing Treatment Essence ($68), Double Serum ($140) and Multi-Active Moisturizer ($62). She says the combo “has been saving her skin” after long, sweaty days on set.

Pillow Talk Is Her Favorite

Lind’s all-time favorite beauty product is Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Lipstick in Medium ($37). She loves it so much that she sometimes wakes up “with cold sweats” from nightmares that the shade has been discontinued.

Her Makeup Stays Put

Beyond the lip, Lind is a Charlotte Tilbury devotee for her complexion as well. Her favorites include the Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer ($59) and the Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish Powder ($50). “They stay forever!” she says, “even through hours of sweating in the Texas sun.”

Gut Health Starts Her Day

Every morning she starts with a lemon and olive oil shot for inflammation, followed by sea moss and a scoop of Coconut Cult probiotic yogurt. “If my gut is not ready, then my entire body isn’t.”

The Holidays Come Early

A self-proclaimed holiday fanatic who will decorate wherever she’s staying, Lind shares that getting in the spirit is essential when she is away from home. “Even if I’m at a hotel, I put up Halloween decorations and get a Christmas tree. Sometimes, they’re going up two months in advance just because I love it so much.”

Wellness Helps Her Unwind

Her nightly wind-down involves standing on a vibration plate for 20 to 30 minutes, paired with red light therapy wands on her face and stomach. “I scare my boyfriend so much,” she laughs, “but it’s my go-to way to decompress after a 15-hour day in the heat.”

Silk Sheets Feel Like Home

When traveling for long shoots, Lind always packs her own silk sheets and pillowcases. “It sounds so bougie,” she admits, “but having that comfort makes a huge difference in feeling at home on the road.”

She Makes Her Own Hair Serum

A true DIY-beauty enthusiast, Lind makes her own natural hair-growth serum and bottles it for her friends and family. “It’s transformed not just my hair, but everybody in my life’s, too.” The recipe: fresh rosemary simmered in avocado oil with sweet almond, castor, argan, vitamin E and peppermint oils, applied to the scalp every two weeks.
