The new offerings consist of the AU Ananta, AU Laksya, AU Tejas, and AU Prathama credit cards, tailored for affluent clients, mid-career professionals, young salaried individuals, and first-time credit card users, respectively.
The bank mentioned that these products have been crafted to reflect evolving spending habits and lifestyle choices in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. The cards come with features such as reward points, cashback rewards, access to airport lounges, movie benefits, travel-related offers, and waivers on fuel surcharges.
Additionally, AU Small Finance Bank has rolled out a feature that permits eligible cardholders to enjoy complimentary access to airport lounges when purchasing flight tickets via the AU Rewardz platform.
As per the bank’s statement, the annual membership fee on these cards can be waived upon reaching designated spending thresholds. The portfolio also provides no-cost EMI options on selected travel bookings and zero processing fees on certain EMI conversions.
Yogesh Jain, Chief Operating Officer at AU Small Finance Bank, expressed that the bank seeks to create a lifecycle-oriented credit card lineup that aligns with evolving customer preferences and its digital banking vision.
This launch comes as financial institutions continue to enhance their credit card offerings in response to the growing trend of digital payments and increased consumer spending across various sectors such as travel, entertainment, grocery, and online shopping.
Since commencing operations in 2017, AU Small Finance Bank has recently received in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India to transition into a universal bank.
