A new Trump-era policy mandates that foreign nationals staying over 30 days must register with federal authorities, or risk cancellation of their visa. The advisory applies to all non-immigrant visas, including student, work, and tourist categories. Travelers are urged to note the “admitted until” date given by CBP at the port of entry—not the visa expiry date.
