The card functions on a prepaid payment instrument (PPI) framework, necessitating that customers complete the know-your-customer (KYC) process and establish a wallet prior to receiving the physical card. As a prepaid offering, there is no need for credit underwriting.
The card comes in two feature plans—Travel and Lifestyle—allowing customers to select their preferred option when ordering.
As per the company, benefits include access to airport lounges, complimentary buffet deals at select five-star hotels, and buy-one-get-one free coffee offers at participating cafes.
Users will also accumulate reward points, referred to as Gold Coins, on eligible transactions, which can be converted into digital gold.
There are two cost components: the card fee and the feature plan fee. Customers can choose the metal card without a feature plan or select one of the two available options. During a limited-time introductory offer, the card is available at no extra charge when purchased alongside a feature plan for ₹5,999 plus applicable taxes. The cost of the metal card without a feature plan is ₹3,999 plus taxes.
This prepaid card is issued on the RuPay network. Customers can apply via the company’s mobile app after completing the KYC procedure.
The Card Company holds a license from the Reserve Bank of India to issue Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs) in India.
