IndiGo plans to operate 10 special relief flights from Jeddah to India on March 3, pending regulatory approvals and current airspace conditions. The airline is working with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah to assist stranded travelers and ensure a smooth process for their return.
In addition, SpiceJet will carry out four special flights from the United Arab Emirates on March 3 to aid in the return of Indian citizens following the abrupt closure of airspace. These flights will connect Fujairah with Delhi, Mumbai, and Kochi, including two services to Mumbai, to expedite passenger repatriation.
Starting March 4, SpiceJet will also reinstate its regular flights between Fujairah–Delhi and Fujairah–Mumbai, helping to restore connectivity between the UAE and India. The airline is considering the possibility of additional special flights based on passenger demand and necessary regulatory approvals.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is closely monitoring the changing airspace conditions and their effects on international flights.
Indian airlines are implementing adjusted flight schedules, gradually resuming long-haul and ultra-long-haul services through alternative routes that circumnavigate restricted airspace. Efforts for repositioning aircraft and crew are also in progress to stabilize operations.
Airlines are increasing capacity as needed and collaborating with foreign aviation authorities and Indian missions abroad to ensure the safe and organized movement of passengers.
