Julia Louis-Dreyfus Wore Brad Pitt’s Cult French Cream to Cannes—and Glowed

Cinema royalty and beauty obsessives collide during Cannes, so it’s only fitting that one of the festival’s standout skin moments was powered by a brand born from both Hollywood and the vineyards of Provence.

For the premiere of Tangles, Julia Louis-Dreyfus stepped onto the red carpet in a dazzling Jenny Packham gown—and her luminous, camera-ready complexion had an equally cinematic backstory: Beau Domaine, the luxury French skin-care line co-created by Brad Pitt and the Perrin winemaking family.

Celebrity makeup artist Zoe Taylor was behind the look, crafting a gorgeously glowing look. “We wanted the makeup to feel modern but incredibly glamorous,” she says. “It was all about the eyes paired with the most perfectly considered lip.”

Taylor began by prepping Louis-Dreyfus’s skin with Beau Domaine La Crème Fluid ($99), applying it across the face and neck for lightweight hydration and a natural radiance, the same formula that’s fueled the buzz around Pitt’s reportedly age-defying skin. Powered by the brand’s patented GSM10 compound—derived from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes grown on the Perrin family’s biodynamic Provence estate—it’s a fitting choice for an event held in the South of France.

She then tapped La Prairie Eye Cream around the eyes to smooth and brighten before lightly buffing foundation over the skin, building coverage only where needed. “For me, it’s important to still see the skin,” says Taylor.

For the eyes, Taylor reached for the Hung Vanngo Beauty New Neutral Palette, blending deeper shades through the socket and outward to elongate the eye, with lighter tones pressed into the inner corners for brightness and dimension. She then lined the waterline with Le Rouge Français Le Crayon in 710 ($28), a liner Taylor loves because “it really stays put.” She finished with generous coats of mascara for added drama.

To enhance Louis-Dreyfus’s naturally striking bone structure, Taylor swept bronzer and blush softly across the cheeks and finished with highlighter along the cheekbones. She completed the look by lining the lips with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, filling them in with Le Rouge Français Rouge à Lèvres in Le Nude ($52) for the perfect, polished pout.
