This temple, situated in the Garhwal Himalayan range, attracts thousands of devotees from all over the country.
To ensure a secure and seamless pilgrimage, the Rudraprayag district administration has implemented an advanced monitoring system along the Kedarnath Yatra route. A specialized 24×7 control room has been established to closely oversee the entire pilgrimage route from Gaurikund to the Kedarnath Temple.
Officials have further augmented surveillance measures by installing 360-degree cameras at strategic locations along the trekking path.
Additionally, approximately 90 more cameras have been deployed throughout the highway, trekking route, and temple complex. These systems will facilitate real-time monitoring and prompt responses to any incidents.
Authorities have also set up a public announcement system to relay key updates, advisories, and guidance to pilgrims whenever necessary during the yatra. Officials believe these initiatives will greatly enhance safety, crowd management, and overall pilgrimage experience.
