MioPods.Space, an Indian startup specializing in on-demand workspace solutions for travelers, has introduced privacy-focused micro workspaces at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.

The company has set up four units near boarding gates 9 and 10, providing passengers with enclosed areas designed for brief work sessions or private calls while in transit. These pods serve as an alternative way to utilize airport waiting time, especially for travelers seeking a quieter setting for meetings, calls, or concentrated work.

Access to the pods is facilitated through a QR-code-based booking system, enabling users to reserve a workspace at the airport or book sessions ahead of time. Currently, the service is priced at ₹299 for a 30-minute slot and is being offered on a trial basis.
Each unit comes equipped with amenities such as seating, lighting, charging ports, ventilation, and acoustically treated interiors, as reported by the company.

MioPods.Space founder Vikas Sethia stated that the concept aims to meet the growing demand for functional spaces as work and travel increasingly intersect, allowing passengers to remain connected during their journeys.

The company has expressed intentions to expand to other major airports, including those in Delhi and Mumbai, after the initial launch in Hyderabad.
