Riyadh Air has commenced ticket sales for its inaugural route to India, featuring daily flights connecting Mumbai and Riyadh starting on August 4, 2026, as the airline expands to nine destinations.

This service will link Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai with King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, utilizing Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flight RX0698 is scheduled to depart at 22:05, landing in Riyadh at 23:50, whereas the return flight, RX0697, will take off from Riyadh at 14:05 and arrive in Mumbai at 20:35.
The airline noted that this route aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between India and Saudi Arabia, while also facilitating onward connections from Riyadh to various locations in Europe and West Asia, such as London, Madrid, Jeddah, and Cairo. Commenting on the route’s launch, Tony Douglas, Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Air, stated, “With India becoming one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world, we are thrilled to provide travelers with a new premium option and improved global connectivity from Mumbai to Riyadh, and beyond to Europe.”

The Boeing 787-9 planes will be set up in four cabin classes: Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Across all classes, passengers will enjoy Bluetooth audio connectivity, USB charging options, and Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova in-flight entertainment system, which features a variety of films, TV shows, and music.

The airline stated that Business Elite and Business cabins will offer fully flat beds arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, while Premium Economy will have a 2-3-2 layout and Economy a 3-3-3 setup.

Riyadh Air is also inviting new members to join its Sfeer loyalty programme, which provides advantages such as complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, no point expiration, and the capability to share points with family and friends. Early enrollees, dubbed “The Founders,” will benefit from priority booking on new routes, according to the airline.
