The airline continues to operate flights to and from Jeddah and other cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, and Kozhikode.
“In response to our ongoing safety evaluations and the current situation in the Middle East, Akasa Air is progressively resuming select services in the region,” the airline stated in a travel advisory disseminated on X.

The airline emphasized that the operation of these flights is “dependent on the current situation and our ongoing safety assessments and may change.”
Flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Kuwait will remain suspended until March 21.
In addition, Akasa Air has extended its cancellation or rescheduling fee waiver policy for all passengers booked to or from these cities until March 31.
“Passengers may choose a full refund, credited to the original payment method within seven days, or reschedule their flights at no extra charge,” it added.
Those who purchased tickets through a travel partner should contact them directly for assistance.
Akasa Air is actively monitoring the situation in West Asia regarding these destinations. Any changes to flight status for these routes will be communicated promptly.
“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew are our top priorities. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time,” the airline noted.

On Wednesday, March 18, Air India and Air India Express collectively operated 50 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region.
