She may run a hair-care empire as CEO and founder of Pattern, but Tracee Ellis Ross just proved she could have had an equally successful career as a deodorant saleswoman. Sharing her favorite things with The Strategist, the actress, activist and current Broadway star reserved her highest praise not for a skin-care cult favorite or a red-carpet must-have, but for an under-the-radar find: To My Ships Marjoram Roll-On Deodorant ($45).
The origin story is almost too good. “I found this deodorant at an art fair in Paris that I went to because a friend of mine was showing their homewares,” Ross said. “So, I went wandering around this art show and found this very pretty deodorant.”
